What data we collect and why
Browsing data
The systems that run this website automatically log certain information, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols: IP address, type of browser and operating system, date and time of the request, pages visited, and server response code.
We use this data solely to ensure the correct functioning of the site, to keep it secure, and to detect any anomalies or unauthorized access attempts. We do not use it to identify visitors or to build profiles.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and proper operation of the website (Art. 6, para. 1, letter f of the GDPR).
- Retention period: server logs are overwritten via an automatic rotation that keeps the last fourteen versions, corresponding on average to about one month of traffic. Exceptions apply when logs must be retained longer to establish responsibility in the event of cybercrimes against the site.
To whom we disclose data
Your data is not disseminated or sold. It may be processed on our behalf, based on a contract pursuant to Art. 28 of the GDPR, by the service providers who enable us to operate the website and email system:
| Provider | Purpose | Data processing location |
|---|---|---|
| 16bit Srl, based in Italy | Hosts the website, manages its technical maintenance, and retains server logs | European Union |
Furthermore, data may be disclosed to professionals who assist us (for example, legal or tax consultants) and to judicial authorities when required by law.
Transfers outside the European Union
The service that delivers emails from the contact form also processes data outside the European Union. The transfer takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, which guarantee your data a level of protection equivalent to European standards. You can request a copy of the safeguards adopted by writing to studio@arcoplan.it.
